Invasion Science Affiliates
One of the primary goals of ISI is to create a brand and raise visibility. Joining the ISI Affiliates will help raise awareness, both internally and externally, of the diverse invasion science interests across the university, while providing a useful first port of call in identifying potential collaborators to develop new research ideas and funding bids.
ISI aims to work across multiple Colleges, Departments and RECs, so joining the ISI Affiliates opens many new doors to research collaborations. We'll include you and your research interests on the ISI website (which is currently being developed), which will make it easier to see at a glance, who is engaging in the invasion science research space, as well as your research interests and expertise. ISI Affiliates will also be featured periodically in a ‘Highlights’ section of the website.
Being part of ISI also provides a route for you to include the ISI affiliation on your grants, papers, posters and presentations etc., in addition to your Departmental affiliations. The aim here is to provide a further mechanism to raise profile, to complement (not replace) existing affiliations.
All Faculty, Research staff (including postdocs) and PhD students working in any area of Invasion Science Research are invited to join.
